Scouting Resources on the Internet
- The Scouting Way -- This site, developed by Jeff Schwartz, is a great Scouting website.
- The MacScouter -- This site, developed by R.Gary Hendra (CM Pack 92 & CC Troop 92, Milpitas, California), is one of the most comprehensive scouting resources on the WWW. It contains valuable information and links to virtually every aspect of Cub Scouting. Don't miss the MacScouter Resource Directory at this site for a complete list of MacScouter resources. Leaders should check this out. Many thanks to Mr. Hendra!
- Boy Scout Troop 24 of Berkeley, CA -- This site looks simple on the cover but has tremendous depth of information. Although it is primarily a Boy Scout site, it also contains tons of information about Cub Scouting. Browse the Index Page to see the vast quantity of information and resources available at this site. Another excellent leader resource.
- Boy Scouts of America - This is the OFFICIAL site of the Boy Scouts of America. Here you will find a wealth of information covering a wide variety of topics in all divisions of Scouting. Check out the Index Page at this site for a list of everything available.
- Scout History and Traditions - An amazingly thorough site. Ever wonder what happened to the Cub Scout Lion rank? Want to find out about the roots of scouting in Russia or maybe South Africa? Want to hear some bugle calls or find out the history of Taps. It's all here, and tons more.
- Jim Speirs' Scouting Page -- Information for Scouting programs. Includes program information, songs, skits, campfires, cheers, cooking recipes, training information, course handouts, and more!
- US Scouting Service Project - Created by a project team of volunteers, the purpose of this site is to gather as much reference material about scouting as possible and post it for public access. This is a great site!
